“Schlumbergera” Genus

Schlumbergera is considered a small genus with only six to nine known species. This genus is native to Southeastern Brazil and is mainly found in trees or rocks in shady and high-humidity environments. Schlumbergera plants have leaf-like pads and flowers that appear from areoles at the joints and tips of the stems.
