“Myrtillocactus” Genus Cacti Myrtillocactus means “blueberry cactus” in Latin. It is a small genus with at least four identified species. In terms of physical appearance, Myrtillocactus plants are tree-like and branching with few prominent ribs. The flowers are greenish-white and small with short floral tubes. Plants under this genus tend to bloom during summer and produce edible purple berries.
