“Lophophora” GenusCactiLophophora means “crest-bearing.” This refers to its physical features. This genus has spineless, button-like cacti. Lophophora is native to Northeastern to North-central Mexico. Species under this genus are also known to be extremely slow growing. It usually takes around thirty years to reach flowering age.
