“Frailea” GenusCactiFrailea was named after a Spaniard, Manual Fraile. He looked after the cacti collection of the United States Department of Agriculture. This genus is native to South America. Frailea plants are small and cylindrical, with gorgeous flowers and unusual colors and shapes. Initially, this genus was classified as Echinocactus in 1838.
