“Astrophytum” Genus

Astrophytum is a genus of six species of cacti. This genus is native to North America. In terms of appearance, Astrophytum is often compared with marine life specifically to a sea urchin. This genus is known for cultivation and exotic hybrids due to its different features such as the amount of flocking, number of ribs, lack of spines, etc. Plants from the Astrophytum genus have yellow flowers and fuzzy tubes.
